I had the most decadent brunch at Extra Virgin Restaurant. The restaurant’s name refers to olive oil, as it has many Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
The french toast and caramelized bananas was divine, even though it gave me a massive sugar high and case of the itis. Though I recommend this dish, it is audacious to attempt to eat the entire thing by yourself. Do yourself (and your arteries) a favor and split it with someone, while splitting one of the other more savory, less buttery dishes.
There is both outdoor and indoor seating, but by the time we arrived (about 15 minutes after they opened), all of the outdoor tables were taken. We were just glad that we did not have to wait to be seated. Reservations are accepted only for parties of six or more, so if you plan on going for brunch, get there early.
